BHS Students Selected to Prestigious Choir

Three members of the Rod Serling School of Fine Arts at Binghamton High School have been chosen by auditionfor membership in the American Choral Directors Association All-Eastern High School Honors Choirs.

The students were among 300 from throughout the East Coast who were chosen to spend four days in Philadelphia, PA in February of 2010.  At the event, BHS student Joan Raube-Wilson will sing in the High School Women's Honor Choir under the direction of Ms. Sharon Paul, director of Choral Activities at the University of Oregon. Students Peter Garlach and Josh Wallenstein will perform in the High School Men's Honor Choir under the direction of Mr. Jerry Blackstone, Director of Choirs at the University of Michigan School of Music.
